Melanie's Chinese Chicken Salad

3-4 green onions (chop)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 rice vinegar (garlic or regular) - I add garlic because I have regular rice vinegar

Mix cabbage and onions in a bowl. Once chicken is cooked add teriyaki sauce (while cooking).Boil water for noodles and cook for 1 1/2- 2 minutes. (brake up noodles first)Drane noodles and add to cabbage and onions.Mix sauce (soy sauce and rice vinegar). Add chicken to cabbage and mix sauce in.

Broccoli & Beef

Ingredients
1lb. beef sirloin steak (I buy the fajita meet all ready cut up)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can Campbell's beef consomme
1/4 cup water
2tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups broccoli flowerets
1 medium onion cut into wedges ( I leave this out)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder.
I got this recipe from the back of a Campbell soup label.
Recipe
Slice beef into thin strips. Mix cornstarch, consume and water. Heat oil in skillet, add beef and stir fry until browned. Remove beef.
Add broccoli, onion and garlic and stir fry until tender and crisp.
Stir cornstarch mixture and add. Return beef to mixture. Cook until mixture boils and thickens stirring constantly. Serve with rice.
I always serve with quick fried rice. I use rice, eggs, bacon and yoshida's gourmet sauce and soy sauce to make quick fried rice.
My boys love this easy dish even Jace my picky eater can't get enough of this. Jake says it's better than P.F. Chang's broccoli & beef.

New Blog

I saw on Rachel's blog they started something like this to share recipes. I don't mind cooking but I hate to have the same thing. I love trying new recipes. I thought we could all share some of what we're cooking in our kitchens. You know I'm not very good at this blog thing so feel free to add or change this blog. But please share some recipes with us.
