Every time I go to Walgreen's they are out of the deals I want. Here is what they had. I am still trying to learn drugstore shopping.
refresh $.25 after coupon from bee and I got $1.00 RR

total $3.15 out of pocket plus $1.00 in RR

So I'm still learning this Walgreens thing. How to roll the register rewards etc. They have this lotion that is is on sale and you get a register reward for the full amount of the item. I didn't buy it last week thinking that I don't really want to spend that much out of pocket for lotion even thought I would recover my cost with the register rewards. The one thing that is good about this deal is that the register reward is a high value and only counts as one coupon the next time you use it. I was having trouble using all of my rr in one transaction because I would have too many items for the number of coupons I had, so I would have multiple transactions to pay for everything. (anyways just some food for thought)

They have a dove thing I might try this week. buy 4 get a $2 rr, buy 6 get a $3 rr buy 8 get a $10 rr and basically your supposed to use coupons for everything and get out of there with overage from rr. i have to inventory my coupons tomorrow and have it all figured out before I go.

Drug Store Shopping

I went to Walgreens and Rite Aid today.
Walgreens I had to do in two transactions because aparently you can't get two register rewards at a time when you are buying more than one of the same thing. Also with the register rewards you can't use them exactly like cash, because you can't use more coupons/register rewards than items you have. I'm still learning here.

herbal essence shampoo 2.99 and they had a 2.00 rr so they were .99 and I paid with a $2 rr I had so I paid 1.25 out of pocket and got a $2 rr

I also got an oral b advantage toothbrush for $3 but they were out of the ones that had the register reward so they gave me a two pack instead : ) I had a coupon for .75 off making them 2.25 I paid with another $2 rr and my total was 3.76 plus I got $5 back in rr so all in all I paid $5.01 out of pocket and got $7 back in rr

At Rite Aid I bought 2 Head and Shoulders shampoo on sale for 3.99 ea which Bill likes to use. I had 2 $1 off coupons so I got them for $2.99 each. Then I got crest toothpaste on sale for 2.69 and had a $1 coupon making it 1.69 plus there is a single check rebate for 2.69 so I get that one for free plus $1 overage

Drug Store Shopping

I did pretty good at Walgreens today. I got 2 bottles of 409 cleaner, two packages of Carefree panty liners (not that I really wanted everyone to know this but whatever) and a glade scented oil candle and refill candles all for $2.7 including tax.

Here's how. 409 2/$5 had 2 $1 off coupons only used one I'll tell you why in a sec.

Carefree liners 1.99 had 2 $1 coupons making them .99 each

Glade candle and refill 2/$5 had a bogo coupon buy the candle get the refill for free.

I also had a $4 register reward coupon and a $3 one they both wouldn' t scan because I had more coupons than items so they gave took off the 409 coupon so i could use both the 4 and 3 register rewards coupons

The best part is I got $4 more in register rewards coupons (from the panty liners) towards my next visit!
