Kellogg's Cereal and Peanut Butter at FoodsCo

As you may have noticed in this weeks grocery deals FoodsCo had Kellogg's cereal on sale 2/$3 ($1.50 each). They do not have a limit or a minimum amount to buy. Which is really nice when you only have a certain amount of coupons. I took the blinkie coupon (coupon from the little machines you see down the isles with a red blinking light) from Safeway for .70/1 Kellogg's Corn Pops, Fruit Loops and Apple Jacks, so I was able to score these for .80 ea. I also bought the Corn Flakes with Honey using a $1/2 coupon.
They also had a Skippy Peanut Butter deal 2/$3 get strawberry jam for free limit 1. It's an off brand, Tropical, but hey it's free.

Foods Co and I'm done for the week

I made a really quick trip to FoodsCo after picking up the kids from school. I used one coupon which was for $1 off produce when you bought 2 frito lay chips.
I spent 10.38 for 8 items. FoodsCo usually has some really good sales on stuff.
Pork Chops were on sale for 1.17lb I paid 3.62
Doritos were 2/$4 (better deal to be had saturday at safeway)
Yellow onions were .98 for 3lbs
2 hot house tomatoes for 1.17 (this wasn't a good deal I just needed some)
2 5 lb bags of potatoes were .67 each!!
1 bunch of cilantro for .25 (on sale 4/$1) I making my sister in law Jessica's crockpot carnitas with my pork roast I got on sale a week or two back. (for recipe look on my blog click the link for inthekitchenwiththeelmergirls and under the lables for jessica's recipes)

All in all a great week. I'm a little over budget for my goal of $50 a week this week by $13 but I'm happy with that.
